Geocache Description:

Located off the Mountain Bay Trail just on the edge of Shawano

This is the first cache placed by my kids and I. They were both very excited to finally be placing some of our own after enjoying everyone elses over the past year.
The cache is on the Mountain Bay Trail just at the edge of Shawano. There’s a nice bench near the cache which would be a great place to sit down and rest if you’ve ridden your bike to get here.
We came up with this set of caches so that the trail will have caches every 3-4 miles the entire distance from Pulaski to Thornton. Between our caches and those placed by others there are a dozen caches either right on or within a block of the trail.
If you decide to ride your bike it’s about 29 miles from the start at Pulaski to Thornton. If you’re not up to that long of a bike ride or hike none of the caches are more than about 200 yards from a trail crossing of one road or another.
