Geocache Description:

Our bat-radar has spotted the Joker heading through Holtwood Park in Oconto. He’s apparently stashed his cache of ill-gotten goodies there. Let’s rev up the Batmobile and make bat tracks up Highway 41!

Holtwood Park is located in Oconto, Wisconsin on the beautiful Oconto River and is a summertime destination for many campers and vacationers. This traditional cache is a small lock-n-lock container that holds a few "batty" trade items. Be very aware of "muggles." Please rehide it carefully...it has been "muggled" once already. The site can be damp in the springtime. Otherwise, it is an easy find. It is winter friendly and, hopefully, flood-proof. Turn right at the gate where the ball fields are. DO NOT GO STRAIGHT INTO THE CAMPGROUND. Park in the boat launch area (coordinates N44 53.191-W87 53.196) for more convenient access and fewer muggles. While you’re in Oconto, whether camping, fishing, searching for “History on the Bay“, enjoying the Holtwood Winter Wonderland in December, celebrating Copperfest in June, spectating at one of the many baseball tournaments this summer, or just out geocaching, try some of the other of more than 50 caches in and around Oconto and the bay shore.
