What: A short class on compass use, GPS use, and the
mechanics of geocaching, followed by a practice session where 5
temporary caches will be available for your searching pleasure.
We
will match up experienced geocachers with new people to provide
hands on assistance. Bring your own GPS or borrow one from the
center.
Where: Ice Age Center, Kettle Moraine State Forest,
Northern Unit, Dundee, WI (or see Coordinates above.)
When: Saturday June 21, 2008 6:30PM to 8:45PM
Who: Everyone! New people get a chance to "learn the
ropes" from those with more experience. Experienced people get
to
meet some new geocachers and give a little back to the game. If
you
are in between, well, you can do a little of both.
Why: Why not?
See you
there!
