A short traditional cache near the road from Kranjska Gora to the Vrsic pass, it will show you a nice wooden chapel in Russian style. The "Russian Road" over the Vrsic pass has been constructed during the First World War by 10.000 prisoners of war, most of them Russians. The chapel in Russian style was build by these prisoners of war in memory of more than 300 workers killed by two tragical avalanche accidents in the year 1916. The casualties are buried nearby. ----------------------------------------------------------- Ein kurzer Tradi an der Straße von Kranjska Gora zum Vrsic-Pass, der dich zu einer netten Holzkapelle in russischem Stil führt. Die "Russische Straße" über den Vrsic-Pass wurde während des Ersten Weltkriegs von mehr als 10.000 Kriegsgefangenen errichtet, die meisten davon waren Russen. Die Kapelle im russischen Stil wurde von diesen Kriegsgefangenen zur Erinnerung an über 300 Opfer zweier Lawinenunglücke im Jahr 1916 errichtet.
