Nice hike on a relatively easy trail.
I continue to be amazed at how many power line “trails” exist in this area. They literally crisscross the landscape. Since this spot on the map didn’t have a cache on it yet, decided to take advantage of the easy access offered by the trail to place one here. Its approximately 2 miles round trip from the parking coordinates. Its a relatively easy walk, though there’s a bit of up and down. At one point on the hike you’ll come to a place where two power lines intersect, hence the “crossroads”. You can find blueberry bushes along the entire length of the trail, so bring a container when they’re in season, you won’t be disappointed. Continue a little past ground zero and you can get a unique perspective of the wind farm. Cache is an ammo can and located about 40 feet off the trail. Loaded it up with the basic starter swag. Should be a relatively easy find. Enjoy!!
