The Resurrecting Beer and Wings Event was held here last fall. It’s time to have another. We looked far and wide last year and found a new venue, and decided to use it again. Join us on November 8, 2008 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Bangor Sea Dog Restaurant. We have tables reserved in the back of the restaurant. Please come and join us for a fun time.
First – the reason for our gathering – Geocaching Meet and Greet! Come and meet fellow geocachers, exchange caching stories and of course, exchange and discover TBs and geocoins. You do not have to purchase anything to attend and enjoy this event.
Second – By joining us here you get a two-fer. WWFM-IV Downtown Bangor (GC1FYW8) which will be held from 1PM to 1:15 PM. If you have never attended a flash mob, make this your first. Then come to the Sea Dog to continue the geocaching fun.
As no Geocaching Get Together can happen without food being available. The venue has an extensive menu but more varieties of wings than I have ever seen, such as: Made with our sweet and spicy BBQ, traditional Buffalo style, or Maine Blueberry BBQ. Or for those who enjoy the heat - try Wombat Wings - served with bleu cheese dressing and celery sticks. The selection of beverages both beer and non-alcoholic is beyond compare. We will be ordering individually off their menu.
Lastly – this event is open to any and all Geocachers. New geocachers welcome. This is just a fun, get-together and an opportunity to exchange caching stories and information. The venue has Wi-Fi so there will be at least one lap top computer there for use.
