Geocache Description:

The purpose of this cache is to entice and encourage geocachers to report the locations of invasive flora species as we go caching in the wild areas of the state.

The listed cords will take you to an ammo box where you will discover the WI-DNR, WCMP and UW-Extension educational "Wisconsin Wildcard" series called ALIEN INVADERS, plant identification cards that identify the most prevalent invasive floral species in the state.

When you find the cache, can sign the log and then take any number of cards with you that you wish to. Since I have to pay for the cards, please refrain from taking more than one set per cache identity. You may elect to complete the my alternate logging request by submitting a UFO (Unidentified Flora Observation) report on the UFO Sightings Map. If you are not able to submit the information on the map, you can also submit your report here and I will transfer the information to the UFO Sightings Map.

A complete report UFO sighting report includes:
1. Waypoint coordinates of the sighting,
2. At least one close-up picture and one "area" picture of the alien species for identification and verification purposes,
3. And a fair description and estimation of the size of the alien invasion.

There is no limit to the number of times you can log this cache and I encourage you to log it with as many Invasive reports as you want - each time logging a "find" on the cache which is essentially a virtual "find" of an invasive. However, you shouldn't log an invasion of the same species within a tenth mile of another previously submitted UFO report by you or by another cacher. I will attempt to keep the map up to date to avoid duplicate reports.
