This is a Finland "zero-point" Cache.
[FI:] Kyseessä on kätkösarja lähellä Tiehallinnon käyttämiä välimatkalaskennan "lähtöpisteitä". Haminan nollapiste sijaitsee Merikadun (vt 7) ja Ratapihankadun risteyksessä. Kätkö on sijoitettu hieman sivuun tarkasta 0-pisteestä, koska 0-piste on määritelmän mukaan keskellä tietä. Kätkössä on logikirjan lisäksi pari kynää, sekä tilaa ehkä parille pienelle matkalaiselle. Purkki on 0,6L kokoinen.
HUOM! Jotta purkki pysyy tiiviinä, sen kansi täytyy sulkea huolellisesti! Kokeile ennen palautusta, että purkki on ilmatiivis. Palauta myös kätkö samaan paikkaan samalla tavoin! Vinkki kertoo sijoituspaikan hyvin tarkasti, joten katso siitä apua, jos et ole varma kätkön piilopaikasta. Toisaalta se tekee etsimisen nyt myös hyvin helpoksi, mutta toivoisin purkin pysyvän sille tarkoitetulla paikallaan.
[EN:] The cache is part of the series that is hidden near the points that Finnish Road Administration uses to calculate distances between places. This cache is located at such point in Hamina. The cache is not at the exact zero-point because the point itself is in the middle of the road. Inside there are log book and two pencils. There might be space for little travellers, too. The container is sized about 0,6L.
NOTICE! To keep the container airtight the lid has to be closed carefully! Please test that the container is airtight before returning it. Also, return the cache in the same way and to the same place as it was before! The hint describes the hiding place pretty accurately, please check the hint if you are not sure of the place. With the hint it is also very easy to find the cache but I would like that the cache stayed in its original place.
