Geocache Description:

Located in Cherokee County Park known as Stieneke Park...note public hunting allowed and this Cache should not be attempted at night...be aware of hunting seasons.

I've always liked this park and I think you will find the view very nice. However you really do need to watch your step...you are walking along a moderate cliff down to the river....this cache is not recommended for Kids or during the winter (if there is ANY snow on the ground).

I tend to like to hide Traditional Caches, using ammo Cans, they are very durable and low maintenance. This is an Ammo Can...but I made it a bit more difficult...cause I made it really cammo and hard to spot...even though it is lying in plain site.

If there are vehicles about, and you are unaware of hunting seasons, I'd suggest you pass on the cache, hunters get cranky when you scare their game.

There is a trail to this cache, most of the way...starting at the parking area, to your left towards the river. This Cache is another cache that is also accessable via the Little Sioux River...take a canoe and Enjoy the Day!!
