Geocache Description:

Do you believe that time travel is possible?

Through the years, everyone from H.G. Wells to Einstein to Hawking have written and theorized the possibilities and impossibilities of wormholes, spacetime geometry, parallel universes, and the Grandfather Paradox. In a way, we are all time travelers trapped in a constant timeflow, unable to step outside the current.

But twice a year, we are able to jump backward and forward in time if only just for an hour. We call it Daylight Saving Time. It was during this twice yearly time warp that I discovered this vortex where I hid the cache.

If you check the cache information, you'll see that my trip thru the rabbit hole enabled me to hide this cache on May 3, 2000, the day that Dave Ulmer hid the very first geocache. I've been waiting a long time for its publication. Find the cache yourself and join me outside the timestream. Then when you log your find on-line, use the dropdown menu (Date Logged) to show me the distant date that you visited this vortex.

Maybe you want to celebrate your birthday or change the past by padding your best-ever caching day. Have some fun with it. Normally, I would say that time is something not to be tampered with but after all a smiley is still a smiley.

WARNING: Tampering with time can greatly effect your stats and cache milestones. Be careful how you log this cache.

Property owner of time portal area has given permission for this cache.

Congrats to CaverScott, the First To Find (although go-dog might have a claim on the title too).
