Geocache Description:

A beautiful nature trail in Upper Pottsgrove Township. Relatively easy cache! Great hike for all ages!

This cache is a small tupperware container placed with permission of the property owners. The trail is a hidden gem and open to the public. It is a work in progress by the property owners, as it will eventually become a full-fledged sanctuary, complete with healing gardens, more nature trails and water features. Don't be surprised to see a resident fox, groundhog or hawk along the way of this nature-rich location! Please check out the related website for more details. The cache is not far off the beaten path, and venturing off the trail that runs the perimeter of this 10-acre, rectangular property is not necessary. Rumor has it that there used to be a copper mine close to where the cache is hidden. Let us know if you find any copper! After you find the cache, you might enjoy checking out the rest of the trail. It continues along 3 of the 4 sides of the rectangular property and then a short walk down the road to the parking area completes the trek. Please respect the fact that, aside from the trail, this is private property. Also, don’t forget to check out the website, (visit link) and contact Team Bird if you want to plant your own personal healing or memorial garden along the woods' edge! And by the way, furry family members are always welcome!
