Geocache Description:

Come and help clean up the Coburg Peninsula from 10am to 12pm on SUNDAY JANUARY 18TH.


THIS EVENT IS RE-SCHEDULED FROM OUR PREVIOUS SNOWED-OUT DATE!

The City of Colwood will be providing garbage bags, gloves and reflective vests for anyone who would like one. They will also be coming by to collect the full bags so we don't need to do much more than pick, pack, tie and make a pile for the work crews to come and collect.

Please bring sturdy work gloves if you think you may need them. Landsharkz will donate some official Groundspeak CITO bags so that the Public Works department knows we were there!

There will be no awards and prizes but you will have the immense satisfaction that you're leaving the beach cleaner than when you arrived. Come out, bring the GeoKids, the GeoDog, the GeoGrandparents, the GeoFriends and join us for a Sunday morning on the beach!

The GeoDogs need to stay on the beach side of the peninsula because the Lagoon side is a bird sanctuary and we don't want to ruffle any feathers!
