Manville Possum: When I placed this cache 10 years ago I did so to bring people to this interesting location that is a reclaimed coal mining area with some nice hiking trails to Big Cherry lake or Devil's Bathtub. With only 6 finds in 10 years, it's time for this one to be archived.

Geocache Description:

Near the parking area to the Cove Creek Mines trail head. The Coal Mines are no longer in operation, and the road is closed off to vehicle travel.

The geocache is located near an old homestead site along the South bank of Stinking Creek. All that remains of the homestead is the chimney. The cache is not in the chimney.
