Part of a series called "Beaver Dam Creek". - (BDC) ____ This cache is NOT winter friendly! Please hide your tracks!
The Beaver Dam Creek was an important waterway for the original inhabitants of the area. As farm land and later residential properties came into the area, the Creek was an important diversion route for heavy rains and spring run off. As it travels to the north, it eventually joins up with the famous "Duck Creek" which empties into the "Bay of Green Bay".
This location is the first point of open water remaining near the South West beginning point of the creek. Much of the creek has been channeled by large underground culverts to make the "urban sprawl" more convenient. Look to the south as you find the cache and you will see what I mean.
This cache is NOT winter friendly but IS winter available. It will be very hard to find in winter. You are looking for a very small round camoed Loc-N-Loc. It is tethered to a small tree stump so it will not float away in the spring flood. Please try not to leave a trail right to the cache and tuck away the tether!
