Sweet Smelling Land

How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This is along the Scuppernong Trail. Scuppernong means 'sweet smelling land' in Ojibwa, so I thought that it would be appropriate for others to know what the name that I've (and I'm sure others) heard since I was a child means something pretty cool! Make sure to take a deep breath before you head out for this one and breathe in the fresh air that this marshy area has given us!

This cache has a survival theme, so please try to stick with that. It started with 5 collapsable cups, a hat (avoid sunburn!), a compass, an ice scraper and a backcountry first aid book. Also am placing a travel bug in! Please trade equal or up.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Paul Sandgren of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: (visit link)
