Geocache Description:

St. Alban's Cemetery was established in 1844. It is the most scenic cemetery in the Sussex area. It's stately maples shed their leaves in fall and blanket the grounds with gold. A quaint stone church is on the same property just to the north of the cemetery.

St. Alban's is the final resting place of Melinda Weaver, the first woman settler in what was then Lisbon. She also had the distinction of being the first school teacher in Waukesha County. Later she authored the book "Memories of Early Days".

The above coordinates take you to a historical sign that contains additional information about Melinda Weaver that you will need to determine the final coordinates. There is no need to enter the cemetery to find this cache. The sign can be viewed from the sidewalk. The final is not in the cemetery.

The coordinates of the final are N43 08.A4B W088 13.C4D

The third number of the year that she married John Weaver minus 3 = A
The last number of the year she wrote her book + 1 = B
