Geocache Description:

As a thank you to the City of Waukesha for their support of Geocaching, The Tapps and AuntieNae invite you and your family to help clean up the city parks with this 4th C.I.T.O. event.

Waukesha currently has 47 city parks and if you have done the geocaches in the area, you have been to many. Experienced and beginner geocachers, together we can make a difference cleaning up trash in a series of the city parks through this CITO event.

Saturday, April 18, 2009

CHECK IN:Our Event will run from 9 AM until 12:00 noon

CHECK IN LOCATION: Frame Park picnic shelter (new location from previous years)

Geocachers will be asked in sign in using the City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry program registration form. (Opens Adobe Acrobat file) Waukesha Registration Form print, complete and bring with you to speed up the sign in process – this is required of our event sponsors. Thank you.

You may want to bring work gloves and a trash pick up tool to assist. Please post a "will attend" note below, indicate your group size, so we have an idea of how many geocachers will be joining us. This helps us GREATLY with our planning the number of parks we will be able to clean! Based upon the anticipated group size, we will be given a series of parks to clean up trash - at check in, you will be sent over to a park or two (depending upon size) to clean. If you arrive late, meet up with us at Haertel Field - all cachers will end up there as it is in the greatest need of cleaning - we will take photos there.
