Geocache Description:

The location is easy to access from the parking lot on the west side of the building. There is as much to see outside as well as inside. Please take care to stay on the paths when seeking the cache. Bring own pen. Please log any travel bugs that are taken. NOTE: It appears that muggles are taking the travel bugs so you may want to choose another cache to leave these!

Take a trip into the history of Gulf Shores and Pleasure Island when seeking this cache. The building was once a home in the area that was damaged by a hurricane. The building was donated to the City of Gulf Shores and placed at its present location. It has served as the public library, the recreation center, and it now holds historical evidence of the past. The museum coordinator strives to keep current exhibits as well as historical treasures from the past.

Take the time to visit the building and grounds. Much can be gained by spending a little time in the surroundings. Great walking paths and recreational opportunities surround this area.

The blue bird house is a bird house and may have "renters". Please do not disturb.

This cache is often visited by muggles - please post a note if you feel it has been "disturbed".

It appears that trackable items are taken and not logged. Therefore, it is suggested that trackable not be placed in this particular cache. Sorry!
