The Cache is contained in Echo Sugarloaf Reserve. The reserve is 122 hectares and was donated to the state by locals, Max and Bev Thomas, for the protection of endangered species.
The entrance to the reserve is behind a quarry, and the turn off is on the Cygnet side of the quarry. If you park at the car park co-ordinates you will be close to three large rocks, when we placed the cache one was pushed aside and I was able to drive up to the gate.
The easist way to find the cache will be to follow the trail. So, from the gate, track a little to the left, there you will be able to see the steep trail on the next hill. There are a few fallen logs and other obstacles over the track here and there but the track will take you all the way to the pinnacle, where there is a little surprise. There are a couple of spots to view your reward (not the cache), so look out for natures seats.
The cache itself is not on the track, you will need to continue about 50 metres past "the surprise" over rocky ground.
Better attempted during the day. It took us just on an hour return with the cache hide.
