Cache is located in the Richard Hemp Fishery property. Just over 2.5 mile round trip hike. Took me 1:48 to complete. Not too tough of a hike, mostly on logging roads. Road into parking area can be muddy at times, shouldn't get much more than a dirty car out of it. Area is a bit hilly, not a park and grab.
I felt as if I was alone on an island when hiding this cache so I thought a long hike into nowhere would do me some good. Shouldn't be too bad of a hike, I have walked it in May with shorts. No real hard bushwhacking here. Container is a tupperware container 6x8x2 inches. I'm giving extra coords to make your hike in a little easier. Listed coords are for the final.This is a public hunting area so please wear orange during hunting season. Please take care with small children near the water. It's not very deep, but the can be strong current at times. No special equipment needed but you may want to find a walking stick near the final.The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Thomas Meroneck of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
Be sure to load child waypoints for this cache, they will make your therapy session much smoother.
