This cash is not far from Wasa Slough Wildlife Sanctuary
There are two ways to get here, the easier way is to walk south along the old Columbia River road and up.
You will be looking for a 2.7L rubbermaid container.
Wasa features Wasa Lake Provincial Park which has been a well-established favourite family retreat since 1955 with recreational access to the warmest lake of the Kootenays.
excellent wetlands, providing great bird and wildlife watching opportunities.
Waterfowl, also look for painted turtles, great blue heron, osprey, bald eagle,
downy woodpeckers, turkey vultures and Canada Geese.
