The nearby structure (which inspired the name of this cache) was built in 1969. Described as "an innovative use of materials for its time," the curved roof is sprayed polyurethane foam which rests on a grid supported by three beams. It contains a swimming pool, indoor track, three basketball courts, and supports 19 varsity and intramural sports.
Please be aware that we share the roads with a number of Amish families who live in this area. Their dark horses and black (poorly-lit) buggies are hard to see--especially after it is dark.
