Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache, a short walk from the church and tower in Waterloo, just a short drive from Blarney.

This is a small clear plastic box hidden near the Waterloo round tower. The round tower is a folly built in the 19th century by Father Matt Horgan, then parish priest of Blarney.I have given co-ordinates to nearby parking, and there is a nice pub neaby with a beer garden if refreshment is required. When looking for this there is no need to go near the railway on the nearby bridge. I recommend walking to the cache (about 10 mins walk) from the parking co-ordinates so you get a good look at the tower. If you drive straight to the cache take a little walk under the bridge if you want to see a view of it.
