Geocache Description:

A preform hidden in a very easy location.

Mariah - name meaning and origin

Variant of the Hebrew Moriah

Moriah - name meaning and origin

The girl's name Moriah \m(o)-riah\ is pronounced moh-RYE-ah. It is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "the hill country". Also possibly "the Lord is my teacher". Biblical: The land of Moriah mentioned was a mountainous region. It is believed Abraham was directed there by God to sacrifice Isaac. God intervened, a ram was provided and Isaac was saved. Moriah is thus associated with divine providence, and known as "land of the vision". May also be used as a variant of Maria or Mary.

What does the above description have to do with the cache? Nothing. I was just curious. :)

At this location you will find a practical use of a natural power that can create energy. It is on a small enough scale that most of us can use it at our homes. Maybe enable us to apply for an energy tax credit? Cool!

Maybe the name might actually be applicable as these might be best if placed on a hill.

Enjoy!

(Thanks to RheS for the title correction!)

A Note from someone apparently knowledgeable on the subject (nusense)...

"These particular devices badly placed and only lackadaisically spinning. Apparently they exist to get a tax write-off, not to truly be a reliable source of energy."

Sad but still cool! :)
