Geocache Description:

Two Stage Mystery Cache.

McDuffie County was created by act Oct. 18, 1870 from land in Warren and Columbia Counties. It was named after George McDuffie, a South Carolina Governor and senator and a major political sponsor of John C. Calhoun. There are many monuments here on the courthouse grounds commemorating many notable peoples of McDuffie County. Take some time and look around and read the information on the monuments, then answer the questions below to find the coordinates to the final cache. Hopefully you will find the cache and learn a little history while you’re at it..................
