This park was created by the Dixie County Historical Society to memorialize the place where Andrew Jackson and his troops stopped to camp and water their horses during a raid on the Seminole Indians in 1819. The park is located approx. 2 miles from Horseshoe Beach, Fla. on S.R. 351 BYOP
