This cache is near the "Horseshoe Bend Overlook"
This cache is across the highway from the overlook and is identified by a "horseshoe", not a muleshoe! We used a horseshoe because the horseshoe bend really looks more like a muleshoe, than it does a horseshoe. Muleshoes are longer and narrower than horseshoes. We used the horseshoe so folks could see how much curve would need to be in the river for it to actually be a horseshoe bend.
Please be sure to re-hide this cache as you found it. Note how the edges of the cache are before actually retrieving the cache container.
There are 2 little known monuments placed nearby from an accident that happened several years ago. An AZ state trooper and 5 members of a local family were killed in this accident.
