Easy find along the Wadsworth Park walking trail.
Historic Wadsworth School. Before this brick school there was a wooden schoolhouse on this property. Cache placed in Wadsworth Park to commemorate the One-Room Schoolhouse that I attended in my youth. I was glad to see the village purchase the school for our city hall; this should ensure it would be around for some time. There was a school on Yorkhouse and Delany called Townline School, which served grades 1-4, and then you would attend Wadsworth School for grades 5-8. There was only one teacher for all 4 grades in each school and they taught all subjects, pretty amazing now that I think about it. My older brother’s class only had 4 kids in it, my class was large, we had 7. There is a trail that winds around the park and it can be very busy here at times so you will have to use some stealth.
