This event will be the first of what will (hopefully) be a
monthly meet and greet event in the Lansing area. The CAGE Team is
planning on holding these events on the third Tuesday of
each month.
The CAGE Team is currently made up of
Team Goldfinch,
The Vidas,
Cruzcontrol82, and
The Allen Cachers. Other geocachers or caching teams who would
like to join The CAGE Team are welcome! Just contact any of us.
For a long time now there have been a lot of discussions, both
in and out of MiGO circles, regarding a monthly meet and greet
event in the Lansing area, which has a large geocaching community,
but is a little too far from either Grand Rapids or Detroit for
most of us to attend their monthly meet and greet events on
weeknights. All of these conversations and forum posts have
eventually led to this monthly event.
This first monthly event will just be a simple meet and greet
where we can all get together and hang out. There is no need for
anyone to bring anything with them, but if you want to bring some
food, either for yourselves or to share, please feel free. Please
also feel free to bring TBs or coins to pass along or to be
discovered.
As we get a few of these events under our belt and get a feel
for what Lansing area cachers are looking for in a monthly event,
we will try to adapt. All ideas are welcome.

NOTE: Per the sign that was posted out front when we were there
last Tuesday, there is only a fee to enter this park on weekends
and holidays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. So, there should
not be any fee to enter the park for the event (which is on a
Tuesday).
