Geocache Description:

Medium sized Lock-n-Lock in Durant Nature Park.

This Cache is located along the Order of the Arrow trail in Durant Nature Park.

The Order of the Arrow is an organization inside of the Boy Scouts of America. Scouts are voted into the organization be other scouts who are not members, based on their dedication to scouting, and their willingness to help others. There is a little mystery surrounding the Order of the Arrow for non-members.

When I was a boy, I was elected into the Order of the Arrow (Indian Drum Lodge 152, Scenic Trails Council, Troop 125, Cadillac, MI) soon after earning my Star scout rank. Some of the best times I had in scouting were at OA events. I thought this would be a great location to hide a cache, as soon as I noticed the name of the trail.

If you were a scout or scouter, or a member of OA, feel free to tell about it in your log, I would love to hear any stories!

There should not be any bushwacking needed to locate the cache, not too far off the trail, X marks the spot.
