As you can see, there was a major logging operation going on this past spring with many, many truckloads of timber being hauled out over several months. Look across the road for more evidence of logging. With all the left over branches and ruts in the earth from the logging vehicles, you must watch your step or you’ll fall over like a log!
This area is a public hunting area, so please make sure to wear bright orange during the hunting season. Cache is not winter friendly, but is available in winter. Space for a few cars to park in the small lot at parking coords. Parking may not be so easy in winter, depending on the amount of snow.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Kettle Moraine-Northern Unit of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
