Tämä kätkö esittelee yhden Espoolaisista uimarannoista, Matinkylän uimarannan. Uimaranta on myös Rantaraitin varrella, jolta löytyy monia muitakin geokätköjä. Tämä kätkö on kuitenkin mahdollisesti hieman muita rantaraitin kätköjä hankalampi, sillä sinun on syytä varustautua uimavarusteilla tätä kätköä varten.
Tämä kätkö löytyy laiturin alta. Kätkö on pieni metalliputkilo eräässä paikassa laiturin alla. Sukellusvarusteita et kuitenkaan tarvitse, pääset käsiksi kätköön tutkimalla tarkoin laiturin kiinnityksiä....
Kätkön etsimiseen kannattaa valita mahdollisimman hiljainen hetki, jolloin laiturilla ei ole paljon väkeä. Aamut ovat parhaita aikoja.
Kun löydät kätkön, älä missään tapauksessa yritä avata sitä vedessä! Ota kätkö rauhassa mukaasi ja tuo se pinnalle. Tee lokimerkintä, ja palauta kätkö paikoilleen.
Ota mukaan oma kynä, sillä kätköön ei mahdu kynää. Myöskään geokolikot tai travel bugit eivät tänne katköön mahdu.
Koska kätkö edellyttää uimista, ei kätköön pääse käsiksi talvella. Ei, vaikka paikalla onkin avantouintipaikka....

This cache will introduce you to one of the beaches in Espoo, the Beach of Matinkylä. Beach is a part of the Rantaraitti, where you will also find many other caches. This one will probably be a bit harder, since you will be required to have swimming gear to log this one.
This cache will be found under the swimming pier, really underwater. The cache is a small metal container, which is Foundable from a certain point under the pier. You won't be needing scuba gear, you will get reach to the cache by searching carefull under the pier...
Choose a quiet moment to find this cache, since during summer the pier is quite popular. The mornings are best moments.
When you find the cache,in any case do not try to open it in the water! Take it with you (it is easy to detach), dry it out and open it, and bring it to the surface. Log your visit and return it to the same place.
Bring your own pen, since the cache is too small to contain a pen. Also geocoins or travel bugs will not fit into this one.
Since the cache is underwater, it is not available during winter. No, even though there is a winter swimming place....
