Geocache Description:

Located off the Ice Age Trail Sparky passed to the Rainbow Bridge on June 20, 2013. He is now with his sister Tess.

Located in the Kettle Moraine, you are looking for a Camo covered plastic coffee container. This is the second in a series of 'Our love of Labs" caches. We fostered Sparky for a lab rescue organization about 8 yrs ago and because the adopters could no longer keep him he was returned to us about 1 1/2 yrs ago and we decided to keep him. Sparky loves to wallow in mud puddles, we call him our resident mud duck. He can smell a mud puddle 100 yards away. We have planted this cache near his favorite puddle which we have renamed Lake Sparky and you will see why during the rainy season when you reach the parking co-ordinates. Parking co-ordinates are N43 37.890 W088 09.594 ish.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Northern Kettle Moraine State Headquarters of the Wisconsin DNR and received approval for placement by Jason Quast. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.

Congratulations to "stillookin4it" and his geo-dog Buddy for the FTF! Update on Lake Sparky: It's no more! The DNR filled it in. Now Sparky's all bumbed out!
