There were a few plaques along the north trail around Butterfly pond that I didn't use in the other Native & Invasive cache and decided there was still plenty to learn by placing another one in this beautiful area. The reference point listed will take you to the start of the journey at the Purple Martin houses and plaque. From there, walk the North trail around the pond to discover the other 3 plaques you need to get the final cords. Please take time to enjoy the Martins if they are around, the pond which is very low in the spring and early summer and the wildlife you will certainly run into while doing this cache.
AB is the minimum distance of a martin house from trees (-) the minimum distance from a house.
C is the number of times the sponsor of the Osprey platform appears in the pole sign.
D is the day assigned to the northernmost migratory limit line.
E is the number of potential causes listed for the decline in Purple Martins.
F is the number of inset detail pictures of Garlic Mustard.
G is the number of letters in the whimsical term for a dead tree, a "____ condo"
H is the number of letters in plural form of the other term for a dead tree.
I is the number of mammals you might see if you walk slowly and observe. J is the number of migratory arrival lines depicted on the map
