This cache is being placed in honor of our good friends The 3
Elves. We planned on placing the cache for them when they hit 1,500
finds, we bought all of the parts to build the container but life
got in the way when Little JeePSer arrived and we just couldn't get
around to building the container when they achieved 1,500 on May
9th, 2009.
So we figured we'd place it for their 2,000th find and that we
had 'plenty of time'. Based on their history we thought that
placing the cache to be published the day of our event would be
about perfect timing. Little did we know they would go on a caching
spree and a day short of two months, July 8th, 2009 they would have
found 500 more caches. We got the continer built and kept with the
plan of hiding it in conjunction with our co-hosted event. They
have not quite met the 2,500 find mark, so this one is in
celebration, althgouh it is belated, of their 2,000th find.
