Kätkö johdattaa sinut Tampereen Kuntokadun Kampukselle.
Kun käännät selkäsi kätkön läheiselle parkkipaikalle, vasemmalla näet Tampereen Ammattikorkeakoulun (TAMK, alunperin Tampereen Teknillinen Oppilaitos joka ammatikorkealuvan saatuaan muuttui Tampereen Teknilliseksi Ammattikorkeakouluksi) pääkampuksen joka lienee tuttu ainakin usealle insinööriksi opiskelleelle ja opiskelevalle. Rakennuksessa sijaitsee myös Tamperen Ammatillinen Opettajakorkeakoulu.
Edessäsi näet allekirjoittaneen opinahjon, entisen Pirkanmaan Ammattikorkeakoulun (PIRAMK) Kuntokadun yksikön joka aikaisemmin on tunnettu ainakin Pirkanmaan Sairaanhoito-oppilaitoksena. Rakennuksen sisuksissa koulutetaan lähinnä erilaisia terveysalan ammattilaisia. Myös muutama muu ala, mm agron ja bioanalytiikan ihmiset ovat edustettuna.
Oikealla puolestaan nousevat 1962 valmistuneen Tampereen Yliopistollisen Sairaalan (TAYS) rakennukset, joista lähimpänä mm, uusi Tampereen seudun yhteispäivystys Acuta. Sairaala työllistää noin 3000 ihmistä, vuodepaikkoja on n. 800 ja erikoisaloja 34.
Kauempana alueella sijaitsee myös mm Tampereen Yliopiston Lääketieteen laitos, Respectan apuvälineklinikka, Tekonivelsairaala Coxa sekä Pirkanmaan Hoitokoti joka on ensimmäinen pohjoismainen saattohoitokoti.
1.1.2010 TAMK ja PIRAMK sulautuivat yhteen, ja tämän jälkeen molemmat oppilaitokset ovat kantaneet nimeä Tampereen Ammattikorkeakoulu. Kätkö on tehty tämän yhdistymisen kunniaksi.
Kuten jokainen voi kuvitella, paikka on erityisen jästirikas etenkin arkisin klo 7-16 välillä jolloin suurimmissa määrin ovat liikkeellä niin koulujen oppilaat ja henkilökunta kuin sairaalan työntekijät ja potilaatkin. Noudatathan siis varovaisuutta kätköä etsiessäsi. Kätkö ei ole maassa, joten konttaaminen ja "kengännauhojen sitominen" ei paikalla ole tarpeellista.
Jos saavut autolla, huomaathan myös että suurin osa kätkön läheisyydessä olevista parkkipaikoista on maksullisia tai tarvitsevat parkkiluvan.
Purkkiin mahtuu juuri sopivasti TB:n lätkä, joten pienet travel bugit ja micro GC:t voivat mahtua sisään. Ethän jätä muita vaihtareita purkkiin. Laitathan kätkön takaisin piiloonsa kansi ylöspäin, jotta seuraava etsijäkin saa kätkön helposti hyppysiinsä. Tarkistathan myös että kätkö pysyy piilossaan ennenkuin vaihdat maisemaa. Kiitos!

Location of the cache leads you to campus of Kuntokatu.
When you turn your back to a parking lot next to a cache, on your left you see Tampere University of Applied Scienses (TAMK). Its familiar at least for people who study or have studied engineering in Tampere.
On your front you see Pirkanmaa University of Applied Scienses (PIRAMK), wich is also cache hider's school at the moment. The school is mostly giving education to different kind of people for needs of finnish health care.
On your right you see Tampere University Hospital (TAYS). One of the closest buildings is new ER "Acuta" for Tampere and nearby areas. The main building has been built during year 1962. The hospital employs 3000 people, it has room for 800 patients and 34 different specialtys are practiced there.
In the campus area there's also for example Assistive Device Clinic Respecta, private Joint Replacement hospital Coxa and Pirkanmaa Nursinghome wich is first Nordic nursinghone for terminal patients.
1.1.2010 the schools, PIRAMK and TAMK merged. From now on they are both both called Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK). This cache is made to celebrate the merging.
As you might already quess, the area is full of mugglers especially from 7am to 4pm on weekdays. So please be careful while searching the cache. The cache isn't on the ground so you don't need to kneel down or anything like that in order to find the cache.
If you arrive with your own car, note that most of the parking lots near the cache have parking fee.
Small TBs and GCs can be placed to the cache. Please don't drop any other items inside. Please hide the cache cover side up so next one who finds the cache can get it to their hands easier. Also check that cache isn't droppong from its hiding place before you leave the area. Thank you!
