Geocache Description:

The cache is a small "container". Bring your own pencil/pen. Coordinates should get you close. Terrain for most of the distance relatively easy, but the final may require a bit more work.

Welcome to Rushford Trails - a former landfill that was closed in 1990 and converted into a prairie park with a small pond. (Truthfully, it's more like one big loop trail than "trails," but that is what the sign reads.) This isolated park is locked in the middle of private lands and is relatively unknown. You can access this area two ways. If you are already in the Waukau Creek Nature Preserve, there is a side trail that connects this area in the NW corner of the park. You may also use the drive access on Senn Rd. which takes you to the parking area (see waypoint). There is a gate at the entrance which I have discovered open sometimes and closed other times. When the gate is closed, it may look chained with a padlock, but the padlock has not been locked.

This is a very unknown park, so chance of muggles is light. There is no hunting allowed in the area, but there are stands on the borders of the property facing away into private land. Park access is from dawn to dusk.

Please take care with the cache and replace it as close or better than it was found. Happy hunting!
