Geocache Description:

A GENERAL KNOWLEDGE BASED QUIZ CACHE - LEADING TO A MICRO CACHE BESIDE THE KIRKLEES WAY.

The co-ordinates above are for the suggested parking area, a good staging point for many walks and caches in the area, and also a good place for a brew and a butty on a Sunday morning! The co-ordinates of the actual cache are found by completing the following general knowledge quiz. The answers to which can be easily found on the internet – unless of course you know them already............... smarty-pants! North AB° CD.EFG West H° IJ.KLM AB = the 16th prime number CD = the race number of Moto GP rider Marco Melandri E = the UK Television station launched on 30th March 1997 FG = the number of canaries stolen from a Hampshire home in September 2009 HIJK = the year in which Santa Marta (Columbia's first city) was founded on July 29th LM = the popular name of the military base in Nevada USA, famous for housing crashed UFO's – ‘Area ##’

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

(don't worry if you don't get an exact match.. conflicting news reports may give you a +/- 1 result for FG, but obviously this isn't really an issue.)

Getting to the cache site from the suggested parking area will take you a short way along the Kirklees way, and is a gentle walk suitable for you to take kids & dogs (but can get a little muddy in places). Please take care when you leave the path to get the cache, as there is a flattened barbed wire fence nearby.

FTF - ICYGAVCEE!
