Geocache Description:

A micro cache in the location where Jesus performed his "Loaves and Fishes" miracle. It is part of the Jesus Footsteps cache series.

Jesus spent a big portion of his life in the Galilee. His miracles and sermons in several locations in the Galilee are well documented in the New Testament. This cache series commemorates some of them, in honor of the pilgrims and other visitors who frequent these unique places.

Tabgha (visit link) is the scene of several miracles and events in Jesus life. Nearby is the church of the Primacy of Peter, where Jesus reinstated Peter. An old Byzantine mosaic, preserved under the modern church of Loaves and Fishes, portrays the miracle of the Feeding of Five Thousand people.

A 35mm container is hidden just outside the gate, near the STOP sign at the intersection. Of course, there is no writing tool in the cache.
