I used to have to go to this hotel every night at 4:30 AM for work
to make sure everything was going okay. Pretty creepy area at that
time of day.
The Blackhawk Hotel is said to be haunted by a few entities
including actor Cary Grant. Mr. Grant was taken out of the hotel on
a strecher at 9:22 PM on the night of Saturday November 29th 1986.
He died from a stroke at St. Luke's Hospital about 2 hours
later.
The Hotel has been completely remodeled following a fire due to a
meth lab explosion in one of the rooms. It has been renamed from
the Blackhawk Hotel to the Hotel Blackhawk. President Barack Obama
spent the night in this hotel on 8/16/11.
This is an easy park and grab. It has a log and a pencil. Just be
very stealthy please!
