Mrs. Sandlanders & I (blue_cougar54494) share the same
birthday (12/27). Is there any better way to celebrate a birthday
than sitting around chatting with old and new friends for a few
hours??
So in honour of our birthdays we are having a Meet &
Greet.

The Birthday Girls will be providing some type of birthday sweet
treat, but if you would like something more substantial, you will
be able to purchase appetizers, meals, or even homemade pizza,
along with any drinks you may prefer. For a partial menu selection
from the Anchor Bay Bar and Grill, see the Gallery below. There are
a couple of pool tables, a dart board, and some other games to
play. For the Packer fans attending there will be a couple of TV's
in the bar area if you want to see the game.
And if spending time with the two of us enjoying good food, a
Packers game, and a bit of camaraderie isn't enough excitement for
you, the event location is between Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens
Point/Plover, where you can find plenty of caches to search out
before and/or after the event.
Another great bonus to where the Anchor Bay is located is the
very senic drive along the Wisconsin River no matter which way you
come in.
As we all know, with the winter weather in Wisconsin, it can be
difficult to make plans if you are going to have to do some
driving, so be sure to check out the weather and then this event
page early on the day of the event for any last minute notices
about a "go" or "no go". You may as well just put a "watch" on this
event for any other updates, too.
Please let us know if you will/might be coming with a "will
attend" log or a note to ensure that we have enough "sweet treats"
for all, but if you forget to do that or decide to come at the last
minute, we won't turn you away.
Since both of us have more or less outgrown the need for
"presents", your "presence" at the event is all we will need to
make our co-birthday a happy one. We are looking forward to sharing
our special day with you on December 27.
