Little House Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

bbrennen: It was a good run but from reports, it looks like the property owner sold the property. We no longer live in the area so we haven't been aware of these developments. Thanks everyone for visiting and thank you for the update on the condition of the cache.

Geocache Description:

This cache resides on private property owned by Sharon Brown, so please respect the area.
The owner has given me permission to place this cache.

Terrain can very depending on amount of snow in the winter. During the summer terrain is a 1.

Below is a picture of the property from 1996 when there was a big house on it. The only thing left is a small stone shed, or known by my daughter as the Little House. Take a look at this construction masterpiece while you are there, it is completely built of stone and concrete including the roof. If you take a look around the property you will find a stone pillar that looks like it once supported a gate. Another interesting thing we found was a tree that someone had put a piece of railroad tie in. It's been there for so long that the tree has grown around it so that it's pretty well wedge in now.

The billboard that has been placed on the property makes this a great night find. The lights from the billboard light up the area as much as a full moon.

Some small trading items have been placed in the cache along with the log book, pencils and a pencil sharpener.

The driveway can be used for parking in the summer. Winter parking is at your discretion.

Congratulations Merc Inc. on a cold FTF.
