Geocache Description:

A very simple one...

This cache is placed where the road to the Ancient City starts. The Island of Kho Koh Khao has been famous for the glass beads they have been making for over 1000 years. The Ancient town is a historical village that was a center for the manufacturing. However a lot of people went here to find old beads for with they can claim 100 to 100o bath for each pearl. This has resulted in a lot of siteto bury the site in sand so there is absolutely nothing to see (trust me I went down the poor road). In the fututre they plan to excavate the site and open it for visitors. For now, stop here, sign the log and just pass. Added 28/2 2013: Note there is now a small house on the other street. Use stelth!
