Another pet cache in Vernon Marsh, this one is dedicated to the one boy in the group, our domestic short-haired 8 yr. old kitty Carson. There is parking on Hwy. I and there can be hunters in the area. This one is a significant hike and the snow can get deep.
Another pet cache in Vernon Marsh, this one is dedicated to the one boy in the group, our domestic short-haired 8 yr. old kitty, Carson. Carson is Molly's biological brother, we call him "Mr. Social" and he thinks he's a dog. He prefers the laps of boys over the ladies, loves to sit on his Dad's lap, "Mr. Grapes",and he always greets everyone at the door! Besides playing laser pointer with Molly, he's been known to wrestle with Zipper, one of the Labsdales.
Depending on which path you take, this could be the 3rd cache you may seek in the Marsh, after Molly and Chloe's caches. This one IS a significant hike and the path coming back is uphill, no matter which one you choose. You WILL get your heart rate up, especially if the snow is deep. There can be hunters in the area, the pups can be off-lead during certain times of the year and parking is available off Hwy. I.
DNR for 2500-118 has been submitted for permission to hide this cache on DNR land.
