An easy walk, bike or horse ride, along the scenic Heart of Iowa trail. (No motorized vehicles are permitted on this path.)
The High Trestle Trail is a scenic 25 mile recreation path from Ankey to Woodward, Iowa. It is an old railway line, long abandoned, and now converted into a paved walking and riding path. The trail is part of the American Discovery Trail. Come and see where the Milwaukee Railroad once ran and perhaps learn a little about its artifacts . . .
