San Vito lo Capo is an interesting little town which is located in the northwest of Sicily. Especially for climbers it’s a nice place to stay with two campsites, many apartments, shops, bars and restaurants and of course plenty of rocks nearby. There are various climbing areas which are suitable for beginners as well as advanced climbers.
One of them is the “Salinella Campeggio” next to the campsite “El Bahira” which we strongly recommend since we’ve also bolted some routes there.
Our multicache is an amusing alternative to a hard climbing day, but for the final stage it would come in handy if you could climb at least 6b+. Otherwise you can ask for help by one of the numerous muggels, climbing in all the excellent routes around the final stage.
You can park your car near the campsite and start searching. Have fun!

San Vito lo Capo ist eine interessante kleine Stadt im Nordwesten von Sizilien.
Besonders für Kletterer hat der Ort Einiges zu bieten, es gibt zwei Campingplätze, Ferienhäuser, Bars und Restaurants und natürlich sind jede Menge Klettergebiete in der Nähe, die sowohl für Anfänger als auch für die Profi Kletterer unter euch geeignet sind.
Eines der Gebiete „Salinella Campeggio“ - gleich am Campingplatzes „El Bahira“, empfehlen wir euch ganz besonders, da wir dort selbst einige Routen eingebohrt haben.
Unser Multicache ist eine gute Alternative zu einem anstrengenden Klettertag, aber für das „Final“ wäre es hilfreich, wenn ihr wenigstens 6b+ klettern könntet. Ansonsten könnt ihr natürlich auch einen der Kletterer um Hilfe bitten, von denen ihr am Ende unseres Cache bestimmt einige in den tollen Routen rundherum finden werdet.
Möglichkeiten zum Parken findet ihr an der Zufahrtstraße zum Campingplatz, wo ihr auch eure Suche beginnen könnt.
