Geocache Description:

Come help us on our second work trip to do maintenance on our
section of the Ozark Highlands Trail. We had a small group the first time but we had a blast. We will begin work at 9 AM and continue until everyone has had enough.

The only tools needed will be loppers, hand saws, gloves.

You can also find us on Facebook: (Visit Link)

Our goal for this second work trip will be to clear the trail corridor for the second half of our section which should be approximately 2 miles. If we have enough volunteers we may split up into two groups, start at each end and meet in the middle. That way we can cover more ground and finish early enough to have plenty of time in the afternoon to explore the area. So bring your lunch, plenty of water and join us for a great day on the trail.

Our section begins where the trail crosses Falling Water Creek and continues on to Richland Creek Campground. See map below. The trail runs along the Eastern border of the Richland Creek Wilderness Area, considered by many to be one of the most scenic places in the state. There are also several caches in the area to be found all at wonderful waterfalls.
