Live Long and Prosper
The Town of Three Lakes is located in the beautiful Northwoods of Oneida County. Since it's beginning in 1881, the Town has thrived and prospered as its economic engine transitioned from Logging, to Potato Farming, to Tourism. This cache is dedicated to the continuing good fortune of this community, and to honor a uniquely-named resident that lived a good life being a part of that transition.
This cache is placed in the Three Lakes Cemetery. To be respectful, this cache is not hidden on or near any grave markers or other monuments - you will not need to walk over or among the graves. Please be respectful of cemetery visitors and markers. If a service is in progress, please return at a later time. Observe all posted rules, restrictions and hours. There is no need to disturb any headstone.
Cache is a camo matchstick container. When you find the cache, please replace and cover as good or better than found. Don't forget to bring a pen to log in!
This cache will be available year-round, but the cemetery is not plowed in the winter, thus the Terrain-rating increases accordingly. And, oh yes; as this is not really a winter-friendly hide, so will the Difficulty.
