Harry Angstrom Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

katsmo: This cache is missing and we have already replaced it several times. However, it keeps going missing. Also, as it is a specialized cache (fake book) it is not cheap and easy to replace each time. Therefore, we have decided to archive it.

Geocache Description:

You can enter this building for free during their business hours. (Monday through Thursday: 9am-8:30pm; Friday and Saturday: 9am-5pm; Sunday: 1-5pm. Hours change somewhat in the summer, and building is not open on Saturday afternoons or Sundays. Parking is free in the main lot. There is also a metered parking lot below or a parking garage across the street.

In memory of one of my favorite writers:
This prolific author's style is an attempt "to give the mundane its beautiful due," and it was effective. Widely praised as America's last true man of letters, he received two Pulitzer Prizes for his most famous series and is considered one of the greatest American fiction writers of his generation.

Once inside the building, locate the book series and author described to locate the cache nearby. This is a muggle-heavy zone, especially the J.K. Rowling section, so please use caution. Bring the cache to a table or chair if needed, then replace it when finished. Many items to trade: recipe, notecard, keychain, stamps, $1, girl-power Band-Aids, Chap-Stick. BYOP.

Hidden with permission from librarian, Jeff. Most librarians are aware of cache's existence.
