I have so many passions to fill the few hours of free
time in a given day. For those of you who know me understand one of
my greatest passions (if not addictions) is of course growing,
cooking and eating HOT PEPPERS!!!!!!
Not many people know that in the realm of super foods,
hot peppers (that is Capsaicin-the chemical that makes hot peppers
hot) have some pretty incredible health benefits! Hot peppers are
well known around the world for being topical pain killers (and
causers), cholesterol reducers and even have several
cancer-fighting properties. Would you believe that a ripe red hot
pepper even has a higher Vitamin C and antioxidant content than
citrus fruit!?
These pods truly are the super fruit!!!
